Buttercrunch is my absolute favorite. I don't think there's anything like that soft, nutty taste!

The salads have it I do believe for harvest monday this week. The buttercrunch looks delicious. This is one lettuce I don't think I've ever properly grown.

Congratulations! There's nothing like fresh salad from the garden. No worries, I'm sure the yields will improve as the season progresses.

Harvesting already? I have chives I can harvest and some wee spinach - but not enough to make a salad. I feel so left out. Enjoy some lettuce for me.

Cool beans! I heart Buttercrunch lettuce. I think it's my favorite of any I've ever grown.

I ran out and did a harvest tonight! OK, it was a small sprig of rosemary and a few chives, but a harvest non the less.

it will be weeks, maybe even more than a month, before I have my first lettuce harvest!

lol yup it would take a long time to break even at the rate of the first veggies of the year. The harvesting is so slow in spring. It will pick up soon. I hope you had a good salad with it. You can't beat the taste of the first harvest of the year.
